October 16 - November 20 Sermon Series
"Praying the Psalms"
with Home Bible Study each week

For the last few weeks of the Liturgical Season of Pentecost we will take a look at Parables from Jesus together with Psalms as we learn to Pray our way through the Psalms addressing Justice issues of today, asking God for Help, celebrating Worship, recognizing our Commitment in our Christian Covenant, letting God's Wisdom fill our souls, minds and hearts, Praising God in all times, gratitude and Thanks for all that God does for us and in our lives, and recognizing Jesus as God's Anointed One.

The overall theme of the Psalms echoes throughout this book of the poetry and is summed up in Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer." They were written as songs, poetry, prayers, doxologies; all ways to celebrate Worship and Praising God in both the good times and the bad.

known or to be made known to us. As a community of concern we pledge ourselves to worship together, learn together, and

work together to further the cause of human welfare.
